Here’s a chance to see both Lauren Samuels and Steph Fearon ( former housemates from Over The Rainbow) in Concert!
Plug In the Lead is a charity concert being produced by West End’s Alexis Gerred and Paulden Hall Productions in aid of St Christopher’s Hospice.
It is being hosted by music journalist Paul Gambaccini and headlined by Tony Christie with West End stars including Lauren Samuels (Grease, The Last Five Years, We Will Rock You), Mazz Murray (We Will Rock You, Rent, Smokey Joe’s Café, Boogie Nights), Lucie Jones (Les Miserables, The Prodigals), Lorna Want (Footloose, Evita, The Fantasticks, Dreamboats & Petticoats, High School Musical), Liam Doyle (High School Musical, Hairspray, Rock n Roll Heaven, Mamma Mia), Steph Fearon (Smokey Joe’s Café, The Wiz) and Jimmy Johnston (Oklahoma, Pirates of Penzance, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera, Cats).
The concert will be held at the Leicester Square Theatre at 7:30 pm on Sunday 17th June. All profits from the evening will go towards St Christopher’s Hospice, including money raised from an auction that will take place on the night.

Performers featured on the recordings include Sabrina Aloueche, Julie Atherton, Daniel Boys, Cassandra Compton, Hadley Fraser, Alexia Khadime, Dianne Pilkington, Lauren Samuels and Liam Tamne. A quirky tale of love, friendship and letting go, The In-Between is a fantasy musical telling the story of sarcastic misfit, Flick Wimple, a perpetually underachieving nineteen-year old who stumbles through the wrong doorway and finds herself trapped in between parallel worlds. Desperately searching for a way home, Flick must overcome new challenges as she finds help in unexpected places and is forced to confront her troubled past…

Our Lauren Samuels has only gone and landed the fantastic new role as Scaramouche in We Will Rock You!
Rachel Tucker who went on to play Elphaba in Wicked and also came from a TV casting show, played “Meat” in We Will Rock You, a great role but a slightly lesser one, and only got to play Scaramouche on occasion as an alternate, but Lauren Samuels will be playing the lead female role night after night right through the winter!

Lauen Samuels sang at the Showoff Piano Bar on Friday, to help launch a new album of musical theatre songs.
Show Off! is a London version of the piano bars of New York where anyone who loves musical theatre can listen to songs from the shows and even get up and perform. It is held at Café Koha at11 St Martin’s Court, London, WC2N 4AJ. (Look for the alley between Leicester Square tube station and the Wyndham’s Theatre.) The doors open at 8:00 pm with the music starting at 9:00 pm and going on until 1:00 am.
This Friday 6th May Sarah Lark will be hosting the show with Liam Tamne, Lauren Samuels and Olivia Phillip scheduled to sing a few songs from Chris Passey’s new album.
